Rat Race™-guide
The Working Dogs Rat Race™ is SATHY ry.:s Trademark. It was first presented at SATHY Kevätkinkerit (Spring Opening), and the Championship will be help in SATHY Expo 2002.

 

 

 

In this picture the "rats" are just getting started and the dog is just getting loose!

 

At the Rat Race™ approximately five (5) "rats" are being pulled into the same directions about walking speed. The "rats" are about one metre away from each other's. The length of the track was six (6) metres at the SATHY Kevätkinkerit. The dog is supposed to catch all the "rats". The final time will be the time what it takes the dog to catch all the "rats". If the dog is not able to catch all the "rats", then the final time will be the time what it takes the dog to catch the "rats" that do not escape plus five (5) seconds per each "rat".

At the SATHY Kevätkinkerit 2002 there was on use for the first time a very special Rat Race-machine, which pulled all the "rats" on the same speed. The Toy Fox Terriers who were competing for the first time, where quite amazed about the "rats" until the got the clue of it!

RANKING-points: If the Rat Race™-competition is arranged under SATHY ry.:s permission, the Ranking-points are being given as following: The winner will have the same amount of points as there were dogs in the competition. The second dog will have one point less, and so on.
